In the flat there is a kitchen with kitchen facilities (cooker and oven, fridge, sink, dishes and kitchen utensils), a bathroom with shower and washer and a bed-/living room (both in one). The bathroom has got central heating, but the kitchen and the bed-/living room need to be heated by tile stove (of course we'll heat it up before your arrival - so it will be nice and cosy when you arrive). The bedroom has got two single beds and one chest of drawers. It is possible to add one extra mattress or a cot. Linen and towels are available. The flat has it's own entrance and can be accessed without crossing our backyard (where you would meet our dog, 6 cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, turtles, chicken and the sheep on the meadow right behind our lot - as you can see, we have quite a little farm here :-) ).

Relax in this special and quiet accommodation, picturesque village Ihlow, in the Märkische Schweiz (5km walk through the forest to Buckow), 55km east of Berlin. You can swim in the Reichenower Lake (3km) or in the Grosser Thornowsee. If you don't have a car, you can get there by bus or bicycle (18km) from Straussberg Nord station. Alte Schilderwerkstatt–Upcycling Loft im Oderbruch

Between workshop history and natural idyll: Die Alte Schilderwerkstatt is a lovingly restored 1947 loft, once part of a small ensemble of craftsmen's workshops, in the Oderbruch just 100 m from the Alte Oder river. Industrial charm meets reclaimed materials, characterful furniture and wide-open nature. With a large wooden terrace (45 m²), a rowboat, bikes and endless hiking and cycling trails at your door, it's the perfect place to escape the everyday, slow down and breathe in the green.

House on the dike in Oderbruch

Our cottage is located directly behind the dyke. We have combined the old charm of the former lock keeper's cottage with some modern amenities and a bit of flair. Relax on the approximately 3500 square meter property with a meadow and fruit trees. Enjoy the wonderful landscape of the Oderbruch and Oder Valley during a bike ride on the Oder-Neiße Cycle Path. A place for country romantics, stressed-out people, for fishing, skating, canoeing and swimming. Lakes can be reached starting at 3 km

A house in the fields

The house is situated alone in a sea of fields, surrounded by the wind in a fantastic perennial garden. With the help of many artist colleagues and friends, this formerly unspectacular guesthouse from the 1990s was converted and renovated into a small oasis and a garden was created with the help of landscape designer Rainer Elstermann. In constant growth and change, an idyllic place was created - and is still being created - in which 10 people can be accommodated in the guest part.

Vacation home in the countryside

The apartment is located in a stylish old farmhouse converted in 2023 in the Schorfheide nature reserve, and is only a 2-minute walk from the lake, where you can swim quietly and relax. The house has a rowboat, which can be used for a fee (€10/day). From the large outdoor terrace you can watch cranes and storks in the meadow belonging to the courtyard. The Chorin monastery and the Brodowin eco-village can each be reached in 15 minutes by car (30 minutes by bike).

An elaborately restored school building from 1873 awaits you. The apartment captivates with a lot of wood and the walls plastered with clay. In the garden, right next to the horse paddock, you will find an old stone barn, where you will find a large fireplace room, an infrared cabin, a wood-fired sauna and a bathroom.
