Our renovated (in June 2023) suite is at the end of a no-through road and is only a 5-10 minute walk into the village to a fabulous, organic craft bakery, artisan shops, restaurants, a museum, a pub, a small grocery/liquor store and a popular ice cream/candy store. The Bonsai Bunkhouse, located in beautiful Jordan River, B.C, is an off-grid, 150 sq ft eco-friendly, tiny home. Located in a quiet corner of our property, situated in a Japanese garden inspired setting, which we built using mainly reclaimed and recycled materials. The cabin has a king bed in the upper loft and the banquette below turns into a queen bed. Our property is located within a minute drive from the Juan De Fuca Trailhead (China Beach) as well as the beaches of Jordan River.

Please note that there is wi-fi at the cabin but no cell reception on the property, and many guests have mentioned that they’ve enjoyed the chance to unplug and connect with nature.

Hidden Retreat

The cottage is approximately 2km from Beaver Pt Hall, 5km from Ruckle Provincial Park, 10 minutes to Fulford Harbour, and 20 minutes to Ganges. We are within walking distance to several beach accesses, Canada Conservancy forest, and a beautiful First Nations Reserve. The beaches are launch points for nearby Russell and Portland Islands in the Gulf Island National Marine Parks.
