Our "cottage" is located right on the edge of the forest behind our house, as part of an old mill yard! We are 1 kilometer away from the neighbors and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometers away. It is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! The house was built in 1964 by our grandparents and was substantially renovated in 2023. Its highlights are: sauna, jacuzzi, gym, gas barbecue, diverse media & gaming offers (Smart TVs, soundbar, Nintendo Switch, Netflix, 150 TV channels, foosball table, table tennis, Darts, board games)

Have fun with the whole family in this stylish and newly (2024/25) developed penthouse apartment with balcony located on Lake Kastellaun with direct access to the forest. The bike and hiking trail to mills and Mosel leads right by the house and offers many possibilities for an active vacation in the Hunsrück. The old town and castle ruins are only a 5-minute walk with restaurants and shopping. A large playground is only 200 m away. The hosts live in the lower part of the house.

Vacation home in the Hunsrück - The Raven's Nest

"Raven's Nest" is the name of the apartment - and rightly so. It is located on the second floor of the old half-timbered courtyard. Nine windows offer "views" in almost all directions - and provide plenty of light and a friendly atmosphere. Old half-timbered constructions, which are completely or partially open, give a clear view between the kitchen, dining room and living area. The bright amenities and lots of real wood create coziness.

You'll love my place because it offers outdoor space close to nature, and is largely furnished in the 50s style, the construction period of the house. My place is close to hiking trails in the forest and nature, the Geierlay suspension rope bridge in Mörsdorf, which opened in 2015, an animal adventure park in Bell and the castle town of Kastellaun. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families.

Modern design meets history. The listed house stands, surrounded by vineyards, in the Steeg district directly below Stahleck Castle. This unique place has a style all its own: ecological materials such as clay and wood give the house a unique flair and an unsurpassed indoor climate. The half-timbered house, built in 1622, is modernly furnished. A wood and pellet stove creates a special evening feel-good atmosphere.

The house has an open bedroom, a bathroom with shower and toilet and offers a beautiful view over the fields and the Baybach valley. In addition, there is an open kitchen with all the necessary kitchen utensils. The highlight: Enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee right from the bed.

In der 100 qm großen Ferienwohnung soll man sich sofort zuhause fühlen und die unglaublichen Ausblicke auf den berühmten Malerwinkel, die Stadtmauer mit dem Liebesturm und die Burg Stahleck genießen. Mehr Mittelrheinromantik geht nicht.
