Or find peace on the water with our canoes, recommended! Our atmospheric cottage is located in the back of the garden, and is built from the old building materials from the old auction of Avenhorn. Conveniently located 10-40 km from: Hoorn-Enkhuizen-Medemblik, Edam-Volendam-Marken. But certainly also Alkmaar, the Zaanse schans, Amsterdam and not to forget, the coast of Noord Holland.

This centrally-located place to stay is close to the cozy Hoorn with historic West Frisian museum and the old prison. On Saturday the weekly market. And the new city beach. Beautiful cycling area. Shops within cycling distance. Cozy terrace, park behind the chalet. On the campsite you can rent supplanks, canoes and bicycles. Day trip to Amsterdam: by car to p&r, then metro. Alkmaar or beach. The mills of the Schermer. Day trip Volendam, Fort Beemster with saunas and wellness, too many to mention.

Begin je dag met koffie of ontbijtje in de tuin en huur een kano of (voor ervaren vaarders) ons bootje voor een ontspannen tocht. Hoorn ligt op 10 minuten, en Alkmaar, Amsterdam en Volendam zijn perfect voor een dagtrip. Wat leuk dat u geïnteresseerd bent. We geven u graag tips: Kom kijken bij de museum molen, heerlijk wandelen, fietsen, varen, vissen of rij in 30 min naar het strand. Slaapt u in de extra lange elektrische boxspring of gezellig in het stapelbed? Zelfs de bank kan uitgeklapt worden als slaapbank voor een relaxte tv avond+massagestoel. Het is altijd al onze droom geweest om een B&B te beginnen. We zijn heel dankbaar dat we dit historische pand hebben mogen kopen, opknappen en u mogen verwelkomen.

Public transportation is close by and takes you all over The Netherlands (with night bus to and from Amsterdam). This is a newly renovated, waterfront, private home with an amazing view and offers rest, nature, lots of coziness by the fireplace and plenty of activities in surrounding cities.
