Conveniently located 10-40 km from: Hoorn-Enkhuizen-Medemblik, Edam-Volendam-Marken. But certainly also Alkmaar, the Zaanse schans, Amsterdam and not to forget, the coast of Noord Holland.

Enjoy a central location in a child-friendly neighborhood. Our large shared garden offers sun all day and plenty of relaxation, making it ideal for a vacation or workation. Located directly next to a playground with picking garden, soccer field, cable car and playground equipment. Numerous amenities are within walking distance. Only 2.5 km from the city center of Alkmaar. Our Garden Room was built brand new in 2024, with the exception of the kitchen. The kitchen has been modernized with an electric hob.

Unique Dutch Miller’s House

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Close to the coast, dunes and forest, but also near the major cities of Schagen and Alkmaar. The Kapberg has its own entrance, parking spaces and enclosed private garden, with over 90 m2 of living space, it offers plenty of space for 2-5 people. This gives you plenty of privacy and living space to enjoy your vacation.

In the 2700m2 backyard of our farmhouse are two detached tiny houses with a large private garden and private entrance with lots of privacy. The cottage is within walking distance of the historic city of Medemblik and close to Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Amsterdam is 45 minutes away. Various possibilities for water sports. Beach, ports, shops etc. reachable within 5 minutes by car and 25 minutes on foot.

Hollandse Lucht (detached accommodation)

Hollandse Lucht is a detached accommodation behind the Dorpsstraat in the Noord-Holland town of Obdam. You have access to a private living/dining room, bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom. In the living room, you will find a seating area, flat-screen TV incl. on-demand subscription (+ Formula 1), surround system and a pellet stove. The bedroom is furnished with a double box spring. In the bathroom, you will find a spacious walk-in shower, toilet and sink.

Welcome to our Wikkelhouse for 5 people. As the artist wrote in the artwork that hangs in the cottage: "the longer I muse, the larger the pond". A pond with new ideas, beautiful experiences, encounters and relaxation that has not been felt for a long time. You can bring your faithful four-legged friend to this cottage! The fireplace, a nice terrace deck with luxury outdoor furniture, a record player with surprising LPs, a well-stocked game crate. Enjoy!
