You will join me in my workshop in the heart of Old Bruges and learn to handmake your own sterling silver ring. During our time you will have hands on experience of forging, shaping and finishing your own silver ring. First you will choose which finger you would like the ring for, measure your silver and cut to size using a handsaw. Next you will choose from a wide selection of hand stamps to add a custom message onto the inside of the ring. This could be a name, date or your favourite beer! You will learn how to hammer the silver into a ring shape using mallets and a triblet. I will then heat and solder your ring while explaining the process of heating and joining silver together. Next I will show you how to add textures and markings to your ring. This is your unique ring and your time to really show your creative side! The last step will be to choose the finish and polish; this could be highly polished to add some sparkle, a satin finish or even a rough forged look to your ring. Finally you will have your own silver ring to keep, handmade by you in the Heart of Old Bruges, a fabulous and unique way to remember your trip to our magical city. Other things to note No previous experience of jewellery tools or working with silver is needed to enjoy the workshop and make a ring. We will use 925 sterling silver for your ring. We have a safe place to store luggage

Discover the specials churches out of the center and visit picturesque gardens and little chapel in the 'Almhouses' Enjoy the Flemish polders, canals, windmills and the old medieval village of Damme. We stop at a charming cafe and you will have the chance to try Belgium's famous beer and waffles! Discover a side of Bruges most of tourists never get to see!!! With you I will share stories, myths and legends of this medieval city that in the dark is covered with a special mysticism. 1) Autumn, Spring and Summer time Our tour will end in a (Beer cellar) or in the oldest tavern in town, where you can enjoy a local beer or a soft drink. At dusk when the mass of tourists leaves the city, we will discover some secret corners of the city.. Ready to enjoy? 2) Winter time Our tour will end in the Lake of Love ( winter market) next to the artificial skating pist where we can enjoy a hot chocolate or a "Glühwein" From the end of November until the first week of January the center of Bruges becomes one of the most beautiful Christmas markets

1) Belgian Beer tasting: At first, we will have a beer tasting experience. You will taste 3 different kinds of Belgian beers and we provide some interesting background information about the beer. Out of these beers you will have to choose one that will be added to the waffle batter. 2) Belgian Brussels Waffle baking class: Afterwards everyone will get behind a cooking station (2 persons per station) and will learn how to make his/her own waffle batter with beer. We will take you step by step through the process of making the waffle batter. 3) Food pairing and tasting: In the end you can bake your own Brussels waffles and enjoy them with the according topping and the beer you chose in the beginning of the experience. You can bake/eat as much waffles as you want. We provide also an non-alcohol and gluten-free version. So also the perfect activity with children. During our workshop you will learn, discover, but especially have a lot of fun! We stop at a charming pic-nic table and you will have the chance to try local beers and Belgium cheese! Discover a side of Bruges that most of the tourists never get to see!!! A bike tour is a healthy, ecological and funny way to visit Bruges. Live the experience!
