At the property, you'll have access to the entire cottage, a yard shelter, and a heating point for the car. The surrounding nature with its diverse waters offers nature experiences in all seasons. The nearby Puljutunturi is a great hiking destination. No hunting.

This unique and peaceful retreat makes it easy to relax. The cottage is located on the shore of Ounasjoki. Behind the river is Aakenustunturi. The cottage has electric heating, a wood stove, and a fireplace. The sauna is heated with wood, which is also located in the same building. Access to the sauna is via the terrace. Water for the sauna is fetched from the river with buckets and heated with wood in the sauna stove. The property has a very neat outdoor toilet with no heating. The ice hole in the river is open even in winter.

Villa Äkäsjoensuu

An atmospheric log cabin by the River Äkäsjoki. From the windows of the cottage, you can follow the flowing river, which is less than 20 meters away. You can go swimming after the sauna without worrying about the neighbors. This cabin accommodates 7 people at its best, but works best with less than six people. Downstairs there's a hallway, a kitchen-living room with a great fireplace, a sauna, a bathroom, a toilet, and a bedroom. There are two bedrooms upstairs, each overlooking nature.

There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which has separable beds. Upstairs there's a large bunk beds, WC and a fold-out futon sofa for an extra bed. The sauna is located in a separate outdoor building, accessed through a glazed terrace. An outdoor fireplace is also situated on the terrace, where you can enjoy even the chilliest of evenings.
