Beautifully renovated, well equipped cottage, ideal for a couple's getaway on small holding. Well located property for walks, gastro-pubs and country towns. Carsington Water and Kedleston Hall just 10mins away. The characterful property has exposed beams with an open plan living and dining area and small separate, well equipped kitchen. Outside is a shared courtyard seating area to enjoy the morning sun and fenced garden for the afternoon sun and sunset. Nearby village has a pub & farm shop.

Downstairs sitting room with microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge (no freezer), without a kitchen sink. Screen (no TV) available in sitting room with HDMI cable. Washing up service provided. This is all for your private use with your own front door, in effect a self contained unit.

It's within walking distance of the city, parks and countryside, with Derby's historic Cathedral Quarter and the Darley Abbey World Heritage site on the doorstep. Duffield home in beautiful setting

You’ll love my place because it’s 5 mins walk to the centre of Duffield with its pubs & shops & 10 min train or bus into Derby or Matlock. A 30 min drive to Ashbourne & Wirksworth. The house is being renovated so is a little hectic but these rooms are in a separate annex & although not perfect are comfy. Its good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families &pets. We have a dog, cat & children & welcome those with or without.
