This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. This is where Giethoorn originated, and the oldest houses along the path are located here. No crowds of tourists. (They’re in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquility and the beauty of the old village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

Wake up in peace, quiet and with unobstructed views all around you. Your cottage is new, comfortable and stylishly furnished, with modern comfort, air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen. You sleep on the lovely Swiss Sense bed of 180x200. Your own terrace with unobstructed views of the cows and sheep is included. Blokzijl is 10 minutes by bike and the Weerribben in our "backyard". Giethoorn and Steenwijk are 20 minutes by car. Breakfast with local products can be booked for €12.50 pp per day.

The house is located in the most beautiful spot in the Netherlands, in the middle of the beautiful nature reserve De Weerribben. Located directly on the water, there is every opportunity to rent boats, canoes, bicycles or a sup. The farm is located on the Zuiderzeepad and many bicycle junctions. The spacious apartment has 2 separate bedrooms for a total of 4 people. Optionally, a third bedroom/studio can be booked separately, only in combination with the apartment. Our cozy cottage with Jacuzzi is located 6 kilometers from Giethoorn and in the middle of the National Park Weerribben-Wieden. At the back directly adjacent to the Wetering river, and at the front unobstructed views over the meadows with grazing cows. From the cottage, you can directly do all kinds of activities. Such as stand-up paddleboarding, cycling, boating, or eating out at Restaurant Geertien, which is within walking distance of the cottage.

Enjoy a well-deserved stay in Farmhouse Room Grutto! The apartment is cozy and comfortably furnished. In the front yard is Weerribben-Wieden National Park, the largest lowland marsh area in northwestern Europe. Here you can enjoy fantastic hiking, biking and boating.
