Camp on a sustainable agriculture farm! The Dome is nestled on our farm's off-grid hilltop, with tremendous mountain views. This is camping, elevated with style & comfort. We provide the climate controlled dome, comfy bed (bring your own sheets), griddle, and basic supplies. Rustic outdoor shower is OPEN till October 1st. Laundry room & wifi bar open. Bring your own queen size bedding, drinking water, cooler, & firewood. Enjoy trails, farm animals, & seasonal flowers & veggies to pick!

Helene update: the farm is undamaged and roads leading to it are passable. This farm cottage is located on a historic 40 acre farmstead behind a beautiful farmhouse (which is under renovation) with views of The Peak, Ashe County’s highest mountain. We are bordering Elk Knob State Park and a 10 minute drive to the park entrance. The farm is located in the historic Sutherland valley district and was built in 1807 by Thomas Sutherland.
