The area also received pingos as a gift from the Ice Age. Located in the middle of 2 national parks: Lauwersmeer and the Alde Feannen. Ideal cycling and hiking area.

The houseboat is quietly located and is therefore not rented out to young people or for student, drinking and bachelor parties. Smoking and pets are not allowed in the houseboat.

The cottage has a wood-fired sauna with color therapy and a wood-burning stove. The bedroom is located upstairs. This is 1 large space with two single beds and one double bed. The cottage overlooks a pond and pastures where horses, goats, chickens and ducks stay.
