The log house has fresh air, you'll get a good night's sleep. A respite from the hustle and bustle. The location is central: 1 hour drive to Helsinki, 30 min to Hyvinkää, Hämeenlinna 40 min. The house was built in 1914. The spirit of the villa is a bit like a detached house and a cottage in the countryside. The personal log house is like the story of Pippi Longstocking, not everything is completely finished - but the atmosphere is atmospheric. A sauna building completed in 2018 in an idyllic rural landscape in Asikkala. Come and spend the evening with your friends, or enjoy the peace of the countryside for a weekend or even longer! Outdoor terrain right in the backyard and a short distance to the ski slope in winter. In the wooden sauna, you can enjoy the warm steam and the fire burning in the fireplace in the living room. The sauna cabin is also pet-friendly and there is a large fenced area in the yard, so your pet can be safely outside.

The House with a Spa

Paritalon toinen puolikas, isäntäväki asuu toisella puolella. Pari makuuhuonetta, isot oleskelutilat, keittiö ja saunaosasto. Käytössä myös terassi ja aidattu takapiha. Rauhallinen omakotitaloalue. Juhlia ei ole sallittu! Olemme järven lähellä, mutta rantaan ei ole pääsyä. Lähimmät uimarannat ovat Idänpään tai Matkolammin uimaranta, jotka molemmat sijaitsevat noin 1,5 km päässä. Hämeenlinnan keskusta on vain reilun kolmen kilometrin päässä, ja lähimmälle golfkentällekin on vain reilu kilometri.

A new, well-equipped log cabin built 2018 with a good access to the main roads and nearby cities. The cabin is located on a hill with a great view to a big lake. The cabin is surrounded by great berry forests, hiking trails and a lake rich in fish. In the cabin you have a wood burning sauna, a fireplace, a grill shelter, a hot tub and a boat. Winter time you can do cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing and snowshoe trekking.The nearest ski center is in Sappee (30km)

You will have a 25m² cottage all for yourself with a kitchen, fireplace, BBQ and traditional Finnish wooden sauna with a shower room.

Idyllic, old farmhouse courtyard, close to good outdoor activities. The house is in a quiet location, yet a short drive away from services. Salpausselkä ski trails and off-road bike trails are just a short distance away. Messilä ski slopes, golf course and beach are only a few kilometers away. The house has sleeping accommodations for 5-6 people. The house and the large yard are at the guests' disposal. The yard has garden furniture for 6 people, as well as a gas and wood grill.

Countryside home near Nuuksio Forest

My place used to be an attic of a barn, but now it is a cozy home with everything you need for modern life. We are situated very close to Nuuksio National Park: mushroom and berry picking is possible close-by. With some luck you can see elks and deers from the terrace. The house easily takes four people, but with with sofas and additional mattresses, a few more. Pets are welcome, if they behave. Sauna is available upon request and for a 20€ fee.
