Centuries ago, a castle called ‘Huis Ulft’ was located on the premises. It used to belong to the sister of one of the Netherlands most important historical figures. Nowadays, the location still resembles a fairytale’s beauty. The cottage is comfortably equipped with facilities as a large private terrace, multiple unique bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen.

A bicycle shed is provided. The cottage is heated or cooled downstairs by an air conditioner. The sleeping loft is unheated and really cold in winter. There is an electric radiator. Our apartment is a small, attached cottage with terrace and garden. It is located in a quiet residential area in the center of Raesfeld-Erle, a 360-soul village on the edge of the Ruhr area. Here you combine Münsterland flair with everything that the big metropolises offer. In Erle stands the oldest oak in Germany. A chestnut avenue, the rustic schnapps distillery and the old windmill also invite you to cycle and walk on numerous hiking routes.

You will be staying in a former forge from + -1870 in a beautiful, historical and very quiet area. This "Smidse" has been converted into a modern, cozy, very complete and spacious home. Extremely suitable as a base for various natural or sporting excursions, or as your "home away from home" when you temporarily need a 2nd home. Outside is a modest terrace overlooking an old, uninhabited presbytery. Wonderfully quiet!

Exactly across the Woold-Barlo border is the Grenspeddelaar. In front of a shop and gas station, which started it once. The gas station is now unmanned and the former shop has been converted into a charming and comfortable guesthouse. The Grenspeddelaar is in a special place: there is sometimes hustle and bustle, but there are also grazing cows across the road. Every guest, vacationer or passerby is welcome!

A detached stone cottage with a private garden and views of Achterhoek's scenic landscape. Because of the many windows, the living room is very bright and spacious. There is also a wood-burning stove allowing you to warm up by the stove and of course in the sauna on cold evenings. Our horses run in the meadow in front of the garden, and our chickens also run loose in the garden.
