From the family room you can step out on a deck and enjoy the view of the pond. We are located 8.5 miles from Vandalia where there are historical landmarks, great restaurants, and quaint shops.

The Cottage is a cozy little home located in a quiet neighborhood in the tiny town of Hanna City. If you aren't looking for it, it is very easy to drive right by it as it sits back from the road quite a bit. It's a small stucco cottage (750 sq ft) w/a big brown roof. There is an apple tree in the front yard and a charming front porch w/a couple of chairs. We strive to provide a comfortable, homey place for guests. The cottage is not fancy, but it is clean and welcoming :)

Sisters Cottage

A recently renovated Cottage, nestled in the heart of the small, quaint town of Arthur. Located next to the Arthur Park. Enjoy the clip clop of the horse & buggies going by as you relax out front on a swing, or enjoy the back porch with table & seating as you enjoy the perennial garden out back. Plenty of back yard for playing games. A fire pit is located close to porch for roasting marshmallows at night. Arthur is a very innovative town with lots of shops to explore.

What makes our cottage a unique experience are the gorgeous water views from just about every room and the sunsets are amazing too! You may even forget that you are in Central Illinois! Our cottage is tastefully decorated with wonderful hand-picked vintage pieces that evoke a very warm and cozy, yet comfortable environment.
