Many activities in the area such as snowmobiling, glacier jeeps and glacier walk on Europe´s largest glacier, kayaking, puffins tours, boat tours, ice cave tours (winter) and horseback riding. The nearest supermarket is in Höfn (50km). Please note that the apartment is NOT in the town Höfn

Only 25 minutes drive to Vík. The apartment is named after the hag Gilitrutt wich is a folktale about a hag that supposingly lived in the mountain behind the apartment. In the bedrooms are windows up high with a nice view of that mountain which name is Rauðafell.
