This two room cottage features a large deck, ocean views, a fireplace, and lush gardens. Heather Cottage has a fulll kitchen and four-person dining table. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed and in the living area there is a day bed with trundle attachment (we recommend these for the kids). The large bathroom offers a vintage clawfoot tub and a separate step in shower.

The space
Our property has 17 rooms and cottages in 11 buildings. Some are stand alone cottages, some are motel style rooms with shared walls and decks. The property is 6.2 rural acres of natural gardens surrounded by forests. We are in the wild so there are lots of birds and wildlife.

Guest access
This cottage is on the ground floor and has four steps to the front deck and entry. Guests have access to the interior of the cottage and private, fenced back yard. Guests also have access to the rest of the property and grounds.

Other things to note
We welcome up to two pets per room or cottage. A fee of $30 per pet, per night applies, and we provide a cozy pet bed, food and water bowls, waste bags, and tasty treats for your furry companions.

Our Inn provides a unique experience on the Northern California Coast with cottages and rooms spread out over 6.2 acres of lush gardens, meadows and forested land.

The main office building was constructed in 1862 by Mr. Perkins. After being gifted to the Coast Guard during World War II it became the inn and many buildings were added throughout the years.
