Yet it also has a few modern day updates such as the fully stocked, island kitchen; the best of both worlds! You can enjoy your morning coffee in the rocking chairs on the front porch and grill dinner under the string lights on the back deck where we have a cute, fenced in back yard! The "Story House" is a 1917 home we moved onto our 15 acre property and renovated. It's furnishings are clean and comfortable, and its beautiful cypress interior belies its rough, aged exterior. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped for you to whip up your own meals-the closest restaurant is miles away. This is the perfect place for a solitary writer or a family looking for a different kind of get-away! You'll want to explore the property- it's an Adventure in Learning about a by-gone era!

You'll find everything you need inside. Open living area, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The bedroom has a queen size bed, private bathroom and there is an available washer/dryer.
