This great new solar home is located just 2 miles north of downtown Hilo while sitting on quiet acreage in a gated community overlooking the Hilo Bay and Coconut Island and 5 miles to the airport. The perfect balance of being in the country and close to everything! We are close to black sand beaches, surf, botanical gardens and waterfalls! The Hilo farmers market is 2 miles away! This is a beautiful newer build with great attention to detail. This includes a private bedroom, bathroom and well-appointed kitchen with everything you could possibly need for a perfect vacation. This property is 10 blocks from high-cliff ocean, on the dead-end side of the street, with very little traffic. The lanai overlooks our 1-acre avocado orchard with 70 avocado trees, lychee, papaya, mango, banana, pineapple, mandarin, spinach and lemongrass. Please ask my husband, Jason, what is ripe.

A beautiful get-away surrounded by nature on a cacao farm! One-bedroom + loft cabin, full kitchen, bathroom, w/d, sunny lanai, on our Big Island off-grid permaculture farm. Cabin is nestled in a food forest a few hundred feet from a stunning waterfall with swimming hole in a peaceful bamboo grove. One king-size bed in bedroom, two twin beds in loft, which has low ceiling & is accessed by steep narrow stairs. Free entrance to botanic garden. Organic eggs, homemade chocolate at farmstand!

Large studio unit attached to our family home in HPP, a rural subdivision in Puna on Hawai‘i Island. 20 min from Hilo Int'l Airport & 40 min from Volcanoes NP. We have 2 large rescue dogs, Jack & Boogie, and a big blind pig, Lilo. They bark/chuff and will be excited to meet you. If you aren't comfortable around large dogs and a blind pig this is not the place for you. We also have many cats, unintentional coqui frogs, and our neighbor has goats. Animal noises are part of this rural space.

(REF TAX ID TA005-218-0480-01) Enjoy time in a small (384 sq ft) self-contained guest shack with full kitchen in a rural setting. If you don't find the sound of coqui frogs at night obtrusive to your sleep, then this space would be suitable. While you will have privacy, my dad stays in the main house in case you need assistance in person. We are located at about 100 foot of elevation which provides for relatively cooler nights.

Downtown Hilo Studio

A hidden gem in Hilo, this studio is attached to our family home, situated in a safe, slightly hilly walk from downtown Hilo. This studio unit has its own private entrance through the side gate of the main house. The unit and its lanai look out onto our backyard where our pet goats reside.
