On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. A Zen retreat on a quiet dead end street, 4 mins drive from downtown. Perfect for a retreat, a quiet romantic get away for two, or for a family, or four close freinds. Enjoy nature, relax and see the cute town! This is a mid century private home with nice amenities, not a usual rental unit. The street is beautiful & backs up to a national forrest. There is another cabin next to this one, that sleeps two, that I also rent. NO Partiers! Quiet Hrs 10pm-7am.
