The entire ground floor of this ark on the Rhine belongs to your domain: a cozy kitchen connected by a hall with the living room. Both the living room and the kitchen have a wood-burning stove, in addition to floor and wall heating. The kitchen has a 6-burner gas stove, a large oven, refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher and various appliances. The designer bed is in the living room. On your private terrace is the outdoor shower. In the garden overlooking the Rhine, there are various seating and BBQ areas.

A Delicious Place

Apartment "a lovely spot" has a wood-burning stove as the main heating. So in the cold, you have to stoke it. Breakfast in the morning sun. The fridge is richly filled for breakfast, the sandwiches are served in the morning at the desired time. You sleep on the upper floor, which can be reached via a narrow spiral staircase. Perfect location for walks and bike rides through forests and nature reserves. Or a visit to the beautiful Hanseatic cities. Good restaurant, close by and in the village.

Hoeve Nooitgedacht

The detached B&B of Hoeve Nooitgedacht is no less than 100m2 and is located - hidden in the greenery - next to our old farm. The cozy village of Eerbeek and the Veluwezoom National Park are very close. Here you can enjoy eating, shopping, hiking, biking and horseback riding or other fun things. Hanseatic cities Zutphen (10 km), Doesburg (11 km) and Deventer (20 km) are worth a visit. On two sides, the cottage has a private outdoor terrace with a fenced garden, for lounging or eating outside.

Handmade out of many reclaimed materials by Jaap, and personally designed to blend into the glorious high trees by Lucinda, with 10.5m metres of glass so you can watch the animals pass by from the sofa. The terrace is a morning sun trap for a great yoga and meditation session followed by breakfast to the birdsong chorus. Perfect for a couple (plus baby in cot) or 2 friends. This cozy apartment, "the old front house," is located in one of the most beautiful places in the Veluwe: in the middle of the greenery, between centuries-old farms and estates. You wake up in nature and can grab the bike towards Veluwezoom National Park. Yet you can also reach the cozy Hanzesteden Zutphen and Doesburg within fifteen minutes. It is precisely this mix that makes the old front house so special: plenty of peace and space, with culture and history always close by.

Just get away from it all, catch your breath, hike, bike in a quiet area. Enjoy the tranquility and space in and around the Atelier GewoonDoennn. The room features a fully equipped kitchen. There is a pocket spring sofa bed that can be made into two single or one double bed. Bath towels and bedding are provided. In the garden, a few different seating areas have been created. Cost of using the sauna is €20 for 4 hours. A sound massage in the yurt can be booked, €60 per session.
