Beautifully restored old stone barn.

Beautiful and full of character cottage was the farms dairy. Min 2 night stay at times, but one night stay may be possible with supplement. Total cost varies depending on total no. of guests and length of stay. Ideal if attending weddings at Cabra Castle, Tankardstown, Slane Mill or Darver Castle. The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. An Lochta is a converted , two story, 19th century grain store, surrounded by a mature and carefully tended garden on a small farm, set in the idyllic rustic peace and quiet of rural Co Meath. Despite our seclusion, we are just 10 minutes from the M1 motorway, 1 hour from Dublin and within easy reach of the major historical sites of Meath, Louth, Cavan and Monaghan.
