You can grill and enjoy the west sun for a long time in the evening and, if it gets cold, you can always take a sauna. Please consider that summertime can be mosquitoes especially around the sunset. It is a few kilometres to Österfärnebo where you have a store. If you want to eat other than Pizza, there is good food in Gysinge. Please feel free to rent the boat and buy a fishing license! Summer time the water can be low at the pier

Sörängen

Relax with the family in this peaceful space. Sörängen is a charming old 19th century cottage with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Other rooms have been renovated but have preserved their old charm. Open fireplace and also wood stove. The house is located in connection to another property where there are sheep and chickens. Otherwise, the house is surrounded by forest and green areas. A smaller river to fish in is a couple of hundred meters. Swimming area within 5 km. Access to simpler outdoor gym, wood sauna, two nice bikes to borrow.

A gas grill is available. Large associated parking area with charging post for electric vehicles on the premises. The villa is located 4 km from Storsjöns pearl, Årsunda Strandbad. 30 minutes' drive from Kungsberget Ski resort and 20 minutes from popular Högbo Bruk. Currently, there is only access to the lake in winter.

Gammelgården

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Waterfront cottage in Gysinge

Relax in this quiet home by the river with unique views of the river, bridges and towards Gysinge Herrgård. The cottage is located on Mattön in Gysinge and it is about 2 km to the restaurants at Gysinge Herrgård and Wärdshuset. It's also close to fishing waters, hiking trails and the national park. You have access to the whole plot and the jetty. The rent includes towels and bed linens. There is also access to wood and a sauna that you fire yourself to heat up.

Lea's basement - Cozy cottage in the countryside with fireplace

In the small village of Delbo, 1 mile north of Sala in Västmanland, is this little gem. Leas basement is a small house of about 25 m2 with all year around standard. Works as a self-catering for a long time but even if you just want to stay the night. Leas basement is tastefully decorated with high ceilings, fireplace, kitchen part, toilet and shower. There is a queen size bed (160cm) and a daybed for two. There's also Wifi and monitor with Chromecast.

Cozy cottage in basement located in lush garden with fruit trees. The upper floor has an open floor plan with kitchen and living room with sofa bed. There is also a toilet with a combined washer and dryer. Bedroom in the basement, one flight down, with shower and sauna and with exit to large balcony with proximity to the river. Close to bus stop with good transportation. Gävle city center is a 40-minute walk through a nice park area along the river.

A home closer to the water is probably hard to find. Taking the boat or in winter time going out to Holmen outside to grill and watch the sunset is an extra plus. Please also refer to my guidebook that is in my profile. The internet works well with mobile broadband via Telia and others. Winter info: Romme Alpin and Kungsberget are slalom slopes 65 km away. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family hill 12 km away. 2-4 kicks are available to borrow.

Cozy cottage by Källsjö – sauna, boat & close to nature

This cottage offers a peaceful and natural accommodation by a spring lake with fresh water, which is well-suited for washing and hygiene. The cottage is of a simpler standard and lacks high voltage electricity and a hot shower. The power supply is via a 12-volt system, which is sufficient for simpler lighting. However, the capacity is limited. There is a possibility to charge mobile phones via sockets, as well as access to TV with DVD.

Cabin at Dalälven

Enjoy the vacation in this bright cottage near beautiful Dalälven. The Östa area is characterized by its long sandy beaches in the nature reserve, fine waterways and outstanding and soothing environment. One of Sweden's 30 National Parks faces this peninsula. Here are good conditions for sun and swimming, fishing or why not a mountain bike tour. Access to boat dock at jetty about 200 meters from the accommodation
