Our home is nestled high on a hilltop in the established and desirable neighborhood of Vistas Atenas overlooking the quaint town of Atenas. We have unobstructed stunning views from Atenas to the capital city of San Jose, and boast temperatures slightly more moderate than the valley. The daytime views are only surpassed by the dazzling lights at night. We are a sort 3km drive to downtown Atenas. 2 acres of manicured gardens surround our large modern home. Safe and secure parking in our gated and fenced compound. Atenas is well situated making access to all attractions popular with tourists. Juan Santamaria airport 23 km,Pacific coast beaches 40 km, Arenal Volcano 111 km, San Jose 35 km.

There’s a hammock outside, perfect for relaxing. Several yoga retreats are nearby, and we offer on site surf rentals.

This cosy and comfortable double room with en-suite private bathroom is simple and equipped with the comfort you need: a double bed, good WiFi, AC, Hot Water, and closet. It has a private entrance, sitting area in front with table and chairs, access to a shared kitchenette to fix yourself a snack. You’ll love the apartment due to the ambiance, the outdoors space, the comfy bed, and the peaceful, quiet neighborhood. Great for couples and solo adventurers. It is located on the first floor below my bungalow. **Please note, I live directly above this studio apartment with my wife & 4-yr-old toddler. There will be Happy Feet noise at times but we try to be mindful. Discount applied for this.
