Period cottage in a area of outstanding natural beauty within the Peak District on the banks of the river Dane. Lovely views and walking straight from the door along the river, through the woods and up onto the Roaches, Tittersworth ( Bird Sanctuary circular walk around the reservoir, 5 miles) Ashmount is strictly for 2 guests as you are in my home albeit the space is yours for the time of your stay i live in a totally separate part of the property I am close enough should you require help

Just a stone throw away we have are friendly village pub New Inn (don’t serve food) and we have a Excellent cafe, shop only 1 mile away. A kitchen come sitting room with a fully equipped kitchen with under floor heating and a En-Suite bathroom , super comfy Breasley memory mattress. Lovely stone-built two bedroom cottage in converted barn and piggery, on a 20 acre farm overlooking Shutlingsloe. The farmhouse and cottage were renovated in 2019, but the cottage retains a rustic charm - stone built and with a stone roof, and some barn features. Walks to Shutlingsloe, Grandbach Mill, Lud's Church, the Cat and Fiddle, and Three Shire Head can all be accessed from the farm, as can the local pub and Blaze Farm for ice cream (challenging walks, includes some walking on road).

The Cabin has a loo and handwashing facilities inside and there is an outdoor camping shower available for those brave enough! The Cabin has beautiful countryside surrounding it and footpaths and walks aplenty! If you are looking for a quiet back to basics getaway it could be perfect but please do look at the pictures & read the description carefully especially re our rural location and bumpy farm track!
