This building is over 100 years old and still have the original charm of the century with the necessary updates for conmfort. We are excited to share this beauty with guests! Gowrie is a charming small town with a grocery store, several cute shops, roller skating rink and a pool in the summer. We hope you will enjoy it!

New, updated walking and biking trails; river access in the park for canoes/kayaks within 300 yards from front door. Access to White Rock Conservancy trails. Coon Rapids also has a 9-hole golf course and a large city park with ball fields and pool. We offer off street parking. Garage available for bicycles. Contact host. Our place is a 10 minute drive to I-35/Ames. Restaurants & a park are within walking distance. This studio is a flat above a detached garage and has a lovely, rustic charm and is separate from the main house. The living room has a pull-out couch, increasing guest size from 4 up to 6. The space includes a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, smart TV, Wi-Fi, dining area and an outdoor grill. This is not handicap accessible as it requires going up one flight of stairs. Quiet & peaceful neighborhood!

Boone's Bodacious Bungalow - A Cozy 2 Bedroom Stay

With 2 bedrooms and a queen-sized hide-a-bed, this cozy little place will comfortably sleep 5. This quiet neighborhood can be enjoyed hanging out on the front porch or out back on the patio. Washer and dryer downstairs if you need to do laundry and all the necessities to make a meal in the kitchen. Just a few minutes from downtown Boone and the Boone Speedway, a short 17 miles to Jack Trice Stadium/Hilton Coliseum in Ames, and less than an hour to the Des Moines International Airport.

Small, but has everything you need including a full sized bed, full sized appliances and a new private bathroom! Coin operated laundry, elevator, semi secured building, on-site management 8-5, M-F and video surveillance in common areas are just some of the practical things that make this place special! The city does not allow overnight parking on downtown streets, but there are two free well lit municipal lots each about a block from our building.

Come sleep under the stars in this cozy galaxy bell tent. You can enjoy a good nights sleep in the comfortable King bed and stay comfortable with an air conditioner and heater. There is also a fridge for keeping your food fresh. Soak up nature while you hike the trails around Oak Haven Acres, a 32 acre farm in rural Iowa. For your security we have a trail camera at the beginning of the driveway that won’t intrude on your privacy.

I welcome guests to a safe quiet neighborhood. This is a cape cod style home with Bedroom 1 on main level and Bedroom 2 on second floor. The kitchen, dining area, full bath and comfortable living room are also on main level. Laundry and additional 3/4 bath are located in basement. I have enhanced cleaning and disinfecting of frequently used areas due to COVID-19.
