The accommodation comprises of one King bed downstairs, a mezzanine with 2 single beds and second mezzanine with one single bed, both accessed by ladder. Cottage is Off Grid, lights and fridge are solar powered,. Cooker, hot water, heating and shower are powered by gas.

My space is ideal for couples and the solo traveler alike. My Studio apartment is attached to my home (a traditional Irish farmhouse) . We are surrounded by the most spectacular mountains on 3 sides and to the front it opens up to the beautiful Derriana lake. When you look out the front window of my studio you will be greeted by the lake and see Waterville in the distance. I am situated about 20 minutes from the village of Waterville and about 20 minutes from the town of Cahersiveen.

There are also modern conveniences: heating, Wifi, TV with Netflix and fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs there is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with a vaulted ceiling and the bathroom. Upstairs is a cosy double bedroom. The Rós Dearg bungalow is typical of what one should expect for a getaway in the Irish countryside. A traditional and cosy open plan bungalow scented by the wood burning fireplace. This space makes you feel relieved of the unnecessary complications of every day living.

Just Off Wild Atlantic Way, my cottage is only a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach and we are surrounded by magnificent views including the Magillycuddy Reeks mountain range & Inch beach and even the Blasket Islands in the distance. Dooks Golf Course is a spectacular Links course located only 1km away from the cottage. The cottage is very homely and is located on our farm.
