Our guest suite has a private entrance adjacent to the main house with kitchen, living & dining rooms, 1 bedroom w/ Queen bed , AC and 1.5 baths. A porch w/ patio furn. a charcoal BBQ and 50 wooded acres to explore. We supply sheets, towels, kitchenware, coffeemaker and 2 flat screen satellite TVs, Internet and WiFi. A great get-a-way for 2 adults. 20 min. to Bethel Woods 30 mins to Resorts World Casino. No smoking, pets or animals or children. All are welcome. Rainbow Friendly.
“Great value, spacious and clean apartment on a former farmhouse with everything you need for a weekend getaway. We met both Sonny and Fran, who were extremely helpful and friendly hosts. We enjoyed hanging out in the garden and BBQ in the evenings, as well as exploring nature near-by - we hiked the Tusten Mountain trail and swam in the Delaware river, there are also kayaking opportunities very close by. The wifi connection is very weak, so an excellent place for a relaxing holiday when you want to disconnect, but not the best place if you need to work. We would definitely stay again :)”
The cottage is the perfect adult getaway. It’s nestled in the mountains less than 4 miles from town and directly across from the Delaware River. For guests planning river trips, it is conveniently located two miles from the major launches. The area offers plenty to do: hiking, biking, shopping, sightseeing and is close to Historic Milford, PA. Enjoy the in-ground pool, fire pit, horseshoes, corn hole or fishing in the Delaware. Private river access is less than a two minute walk.
“All the glowing reviews are true! From the warm in-person welcome we received, to the little touches throughout the home that create BIG impact (no need to pick up milk for coffee in the morning - they covered that! And fresh OJ, and eggs for breakfast, too! I could go on, but I wouldn’t want to spoil all the little surprises for you) Every creature comfort you can think of, I guarantee Rob and Kim already thought of it and supplied it. Kim was sweet enough to text us here and there to check in and make sure we were comfortable, and to see if we needed anything else during our stay. The cottage is immaculate and we felt very safe staying there during this weird time we’re living in. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and the surrounding neighborhood was fun to explore (shout-out to their sweet neighbor, Larry who gave us a tour of his veg garden/mini farm and gifted us with the literal fruits of his labor!) All in all, this was hands-down the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had (and I’m no novice!) and I’ve already made plans to return. Rob and Kim, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your incredible hospitality! This post-lockdown escape was everything I’d hoped for and more. Can’t wait to see you in September!”
Sparrow's Nest is embedded in evergreen and deciduous trees that make it a slice of heaven! Located 10 miles from town, it's a quiet get-away without being too remote from stores and sites. perfect for several couples, extended families. and friends' get-togethers. A full hot breakfast cooked by the hostess (in lower level) is offered at an additional price upon request. How convenient! Otherwise, help yourself to the breakfast items stored in the kitchen and freezer ~
“Janan is a true GEM. The space was great for my two good friends and I who were staying for a 7-day getaway from our current COVID lives. The home had everything we needed, and Janan was always there to provide a helping hand. We were comfortable, safe, clean and happy. All 3 of us were working M-F and had no issues with wifi, despite the numerous video calls. The fire pit was used daily and it was really easy to set up. Looking forward to stay again in the future. - tolu Janan was an exceptional host! Her place truly felt like a "home away from home" and gave us much-needed respite. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas were clean and comfortable. The place is spacious, with lots of little nooks to explore (or work in)! The highlight of the space is the patio, which turns into an enchanting outdoor area at night with a fire pit and string lights. Janan does an amazing job maintaining the grounds - we took full advantage of the outdoor areas as weather permitted. Janan's warmth and hospitality made our stay an unforgettable one.
