Located on the Wild Atlantic Way just outside the village of Kilcar with Sleive League to the West and Killybegs and Donegal town to the south. This is an ideal place to settle into for a night or two and return to each evening after visiting the beautiful Donegal countryside. There are wonderful views from the cottage of Sleive League (Sliabh Liag) beyond.

A warm atmosphere is created by the wood-burning stove, with its soft glow visible through a slate surround. A rustic wooden coffee table sits in front, adorned with a vase of yellow daffodils. The room features warm tones with a comfortable sofa nearby.

There are no street lights and it is four km from the nearest shop. It is immersed in nature and is suitable for people seeking peace and quiet who value wildlife and conservation. We have wifi but it is not reliable. Phone coverage in the lodge is limited.
