It is locked off from upstairs & has it's own entrance. So 2 seperate units, 2 seperate entrances, but all under 1 roof. We will use the left side of the drive (2 cars) & enter via garage. The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space. Peaceful space in the valley where a rooster crow is all you hear in the morning. Have coffee on the dock while feeding koi in the koi pond! Off the beating path of traffic. Short drive to I 435 and I 35. About a half hour drive to Royals and Chiefs stadiums, downtown KC and Kansas speedway! Minutes from the bike and walking trails that circle Smithville Lake!

The Saloon - Private Entrance/Space!

Welcome to The Saloon. This 600 sq feet space is perfect for those who need a quick getaway or traveling through Kansas City. Located just 15 minutes from the Power & Light District, 22 minutes from Arrowhead Stadium, and 20 minutes from MCI Airport. This space has no access to thermostat, (the space does have heat) - we do provide a space heater, as some guests have complained about being too cold when really cold days/nights.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Enjoy your own private cottage with all your essentials; You also have access to the property's hot tub and 1 acre pond stocked with catfish, blue gill, and bass! The cottage has a 1 queen size bed and a mattress in the loft . Please note: we do live on this property and the cottage is next to our main house. We have friendly outdoor cats they do freely roam the property.
