Our beautiful guest house is located in the scenic Gjern Bakker in the middle of Søhøjlandet with the nature trail right outside the door. There is a private entrance from private parking space to the cozy and spacious house. The house has a nice living room, high-speed internet and TV. Please do not share the house with others. The kitchen has a refrigerator, freezer, air fryer, oven, microwave, coffee maker, 2 hotplates. Instant coffee and tea bags. There is access to a small terrace in the berry garden via the door in the kitchen. Access to Room 2 is via the stairs in Room 1.

You have 15 minutes by car to Silkeborg and the bathing lakes - for example. Almindsø. 30 minutes to Himmelbjerget, where you can also sail with the hjejlen. 35 minutes to Aarhus. On your way to the garden house, you have to go through our lovely garden, you can walk around our pond, enjoy all our beautiful flowers and plants, we won the garden company's garden prize 2024 The house is decorated with wood on the walls, small bathroom with shower, kitchen and direct access to the orangery where you are welcome to sit and enjoy or eat. The bed is in the loft, where there is a skylight window so you can enjoy the stars, the wilderness bath can be purchased if you wish and come here. Wine and tapas can be purchased

Vidkærhøj

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and peaceful side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s and was originally an old stable, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg, and Skanderborg. The sky is high here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cat, chickens, and roosters are also very curious. We look forward to welcoming you 🤗
