Stay in the old village schoolhouse

Our historic school building with wonderfully high ceilings and its thick sandstone walls offers plenty of space (about 130 square meters) for up to four people. It was lovingly ecologically renovated by us until 2013. Downstairs there is a large kitchen-living room, upstairs a cozy small bedroom and a large studio, which can also be used by artistically ambitious guests. From Gräfenhausen you can go directly to the Palatinate Forest by mountain bike or on foot. The nearest climbing rock is also a 20-minute walk. In the village there is a small restaurant with a village shop and a bakery (both directly opposite the house).

A charming house features a distinct gable roof and a combination of wooden and brick exteriors. The entrance is marked by a large double door with horizontal wood planks, while a soft glow from lights enhances the building's character. Windows are placed symmetrically above.

The house is situated in a beautiful garden in the quiet, idyllic Palatine village of Mühlheim. The Gesindehaus is tastefully restored and expanded and has many loving details. On the first floor is the living/dining room with a fireplace as well as the kitchen room with a spiral staircase to the top floor. In addition, there is the bathroom with large shower, toilet and washing machine as well as a bedroom with workplace and double bed (120 cm). In the studio of the attic is another bed (180 cm) and a large roof terrace.

A private terrace features a round table surrounded by two metal chairs, with a decorative figure at the center. The backdrop showcases rolling green hills under a clear blue sky, and the terrace is enclosed by a low metal railing.

The large roof terrace invites you to relax and offers a unique view. The vacation home was completely renovated in 2023, is lovingly decorated and fully equipped. Freinsheim offers a great starting point for exploring the region and after exploring it offers some opportunities for culinary retreats.
