Custom Log Cabin on the Ford River! In a secluded area close to 4Wheeling trails, family kayaking, great views, nature, family-friendly activities. It is one hour away from Marquette, also one hour away from Picture Rocks, plus some other areas of interest in the upper peninsula. You’ll love my place because of its serene surroundings in front of the river. It is a beautiful custom log cabin in a beautiful area. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids).

You will think of this 3 bedroom 2 bath house on the lake as your home away from home. Summer brings water sports, grilling and eating on the deck and enjoying sunsets over the lake. Winter months include accessing snowmobile trails from your front door, nearby downhill and cross country ski venues and snowshoeing. Curl up by a crackling fire at days end. Small hand hewn log cabin on Chocolay River. Good fishing, approximately 5 miles from snowmobile and ORV trails. Full kitchen. 1 BR (Q), Full sofa sleeper and 1 bath. Outdoor electric sauna. A fire pit. Washer/dryer. Basic amenities. Full kitchen. There is WiFi but cell service can be very sketchy. Texting does seem to work ok. We do have a cell phone booster there but it still isn’t great. If you need to make a call you can drive about 1 mile out to US 41 and service is good.
