Built in 1863, this gorgeous retreat is just opposite the village green, which is home to two dog-friendly country pubs, two restaurants and a whole host of other options such as luxury pizzas, curries and Thai food. The fish and chips are not to be missed! The house has a lovely south facing enclosed garden. There is a key box at the front door so you can arrive at any time. It is only a ten minute taxi ride from Liverpool airport and on direct bus and train routes ( 10 minutes ) into the city centre. Sefton park is close by, as is Lark Lane , with a range of vibrant cafes and restaurants We live close to Grassendale park and it's only a 10 minute walk to the river Mersey.

It's 3 miles to Blackpool town centre with a great bus service and shops a two minute walk away. I live downstairs and guests occupy the first floor, set up as an apartment with their own access. There are 2 bedrooms that sleep 3 guests. (one single room with single bed; one double room with a double bed) There is a lounge with TV, dining table and chairs and a small kitchenette. The flat is dog friendly with a large gated front garden.
