“First and foremost, the views here are absolutely breathtaking. I have never been to a tiny house and this was actually my first experience booking an Airbnb. Seth made the entire process a BREEZE! I couldn’t have asked for better understanding and communication. Upon arrival you will know absolutely that you made the right choice! With everything going on in the world, I’ve never felt more comfortable to step foot into something new. The glass house is beautiful and comes with everything you could need to be successful in a camping environment. Located just far enough away from society and yet still close enough to access everything you may want to pick up while on the journey! The instructions laid out by the Host are crystal clear! Everything was in great working condition. To be honest. I have absolutely zero complaints, and for this. I say if you want to have a wonderful getaway, solo or otherwise. This is the place to be! Just remember, don’t throw stones at glass houses!”
Spacious cottage with private back yard with a cherry tree, walking distance from the train and Main street. The cottage also functions as a photo gallery for the photographer Gil Gofer, presenting several images from his work around the world.
“Especially if you're living in the City, Eli and Taly's place is the ideal medicine, the ideal retreat. As soon as I opened the door and walked into the Cottage, my goodness, I felt as if I were walking into a home I had dreamed of. The natural lighting spilling through, the quietness -- the calm -- it was all so invigorating and rejuvenating and soothing. I was able to enjoy the restaurants on Main Street (less than a 10 min walk away), while the home's yard provided the opportunity to stretch in the sun, take my morning coffee, and at night, the star-gazing was something to write home about. What's more, given the uncertainty and chaos of our time, Taly was incredibly accommodating and flexible, there for me when I had to adjust my initial plans. You will be doing yourself a great service once you decide to stay at Eli and Taly's, trust me.”
Sit at a quaint breakfast table in this sun-filled room featuring a robust stone fireplace, grainy wood-plank floors, and a country decor touches. Walk outside to admire the well manicured grounds of this enchanting stone-built home dating from 1772.
“Loved this little room in the country. It was a perfect place to relax for the weekend. We went for a walk in the paths behind the house and the view back there was stunning. Tammy was a wonderful host, and the room was clean and adorable. We didn't have many expectations for the area surrounding the house. We were just trying to get away to a remote location for the weekend, and chose the area based on the house not what was around us. But the town of New Paltz was about 5 minutes down the street, and surpassed our expectations for charm, restaurants, and trails.”
