You will find this charming vacation home in a rural location between the cities of Leeuwarden and Harlingen. The house has all the comforts. Enjoy the tranquility, lambs and calves in spring, whistling birds and a sweeping view over the Frisian landscape, even from the bathtub. The park has a large playground with an inflatable bounce house, a meadow with some woods, and a small lake, which is also a habitat for deer. This area is known for its many tea gardens and the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site.

The house where the farmer used to live with his family has been converted into a comfortable apartment with a spacious living room and open kitchen downstairs, overlooking the meadows and the Wanswert church. The apartment is in personal style and fully furnished. Where possible, we have used second-hand furniture. Together with the piano and comfortable wood stove, a pleasant living climate is created. The apartment has a cozy private garden around it, a private front door and lots of privacy.

Welcome to Friese Wergea, located within cycling distance of Leeuwarden, the Alde Feanen National Park, and the water sports village of Grou. Welcome also to our old farmhouse, where part of the former stable has been transformed into a charming B&B. Uniquely decorated with lots of art on the walls and a well-stocked bookcase. The b and b is located separately and closed off from the main house. Private entrance, private bedroom and private bathroom. There is one B&B room. Breakfast included.

Perfect for paddleboarding, fishing or swimming. Extras: breakfast, rental of SUPs and e-bikes. Close to Leeuwarden and Holwerd (Ameland ferry). Cycling and hiking trails start at the backyard. On weekends, we serve breakfast (for a fee), during the week only in consultation.

Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. A beautiful part of Friesland, with beautiful sunsets. Around this area, many cycling routes can be found, including the famous ferry route. The parking lot at the water villa has a charging station. A maximum of 2 vehicles are allowed in the Arkenpark.
