All have two bedrooms with king sized beds, dresser and walk-in closets. Full bath, living room with vaulted ceiling and full kitchen. Each a coffee bar with plenty of choices. In the winter you can snuggle up next to the fireplace or in the summer you can jump off the dock and go swimming! We are 6 miles away from The Mercantile (10 minute drive). We have hosted many Weddings, Parties, Disc Golf Tournaments, Retreats, Boy Scout Camp-outs, Fishing Derbies, etc! We also have an RV Park as well!

Fairfax is home to Maria & Marjorie Tall Chief. * The Water Bird Gallery is a must visit for history about the "Reign of Terror" and Killer of the Flower Moon movie memorabilia. * Fun shopping also at Treats (coffee shop with crafts from local Native American artists). * Fantastic smoked meats and sides at Kennedy BBQ!!! * Historic opportunity to visit the Tall Chief Theater.

Pecan Cabin

The Pecan Cabin is in the middle of a pecan orchard. It is built out of pecan wood. There is much wildlife around the cabin. We often see deer, wild turkeys, armadillo, squirrels, hawks, racoon, and coyote. It is very quiet and peaceful. A great place for star gazing. This is a working pecan orchard. You may see us, mowing, pruning and generally taking care of the trees. There is no hunting on this property. The land is leased for hunting, but they do not hunt in the pecan grove.

Bridgewater Cabin (Modern/private/in city limits!)

A modern cabin in town! This is the only residence on 4.2 wooded acres, and feels like you’re miles from town. Located 3 minutes drive from downtown Pawhuska. Relax on the 320sf deck by the house, or walk just a few steps down a wooded path to the platform overlooking Bird Creek, lots of wildlife can be seen. Perfect for a couples weekend, or a quiet getaway. Queen bed in the loft and a queen Murphy bed in the main room. A wilderness retreat within the city limits!
