The Red Train Carriage

The Red Train Carriage is a special place to stay next to the train tracks of The Swanage Railway. We believe it was built in about 1858 for GER as a 2nd class passenger carriage. It was just a shell when we got it, with it's original walls, doors, ceiling and floor, but the seating had been removed. There was only a few clues about its history in some of the doors and windows. We have saved as much of the original carriage as possible whilst making it a comfortable place to stay for a week.

A rustic exterior showcases a wooden structure with a covered porch, featuring comfortable seating options. Surrounding greenery adds a natural touch, while various potted plants brighten the area. The landscaped space includes a small gravel path that leads to an expansive grassy yard.

As seen on BBC2's My Unique B&B! Located in a World Heritage Site, Ironbridge Gorge, tucked away in a quiet residential area. A stones throw from both countryside and convenience. Enter through the secret gate in the hedgerow, Scout's Meadow is nestled in its own private grounds, with wood fired hot tub, fire pit, pizza oven & veranda. The wagon has a cosy king bed, cooking facilities, fridge freezer and wood stove. Right next door is the bathroom with flushing toilet, sink and hot shower.

A pathway lined with lush greenery leads to the entrance of the tram. The wooden door is framed by natural archways formed from interwoven willow branches, enhancing the inviting and secluded atmosphere.

Clover Carriage, sauna, underfloor heat, log fire

Nestled into our working farm, this lovingly restored railway carriage is the perfect spot for a romantic stay away. The views are out of this world and all viewable from the large glass doors so you can stay tucked up in bed or on the sofa in front of the fire, with great wifi, free access to our beautiful sauna in the pool house (pool closed for winter!), beautiful walks both from the carriage or a short drive to the coast path, pub lunches, sunsets, fairy lights. It's a winter dream.

Flying Yorkshireman railway carriage with views.

We have built this Pullman style railway carriage and sighted it over looking the old Nidd Valley railway line that runs through the farm. He’s 24ft by 9ft and very luxurious. With shower, toilet, kitchen, heating... in fact everything you will need for a stay away. We have reclaimed many railway items including the four handles, luggage rack, lamps, signs and much more. He is authentic as he can be. Outside is covered area overlooking wonderful Dales view, fire pit, seating and table.

An ancient stone castle is depicted, showing tall, weathered walls with partially collapsed sections. Lush green grass surrounds the structure, and a staircase leads up to it. Decorative trees frame the scene, while shelves filled with varied items are positioned at the base of the stairs.
