The tour includes an itinerary in steps. By my 4x4 off-road vehicle or SUV car, I will drive you to the "lava desert," the quintessential lunar landscape. We will walk along the paths of Europe's highest active volcano, I will show you the impressive volcanic structure, explain its history and origin. We will stop and look at the views and vistas that only Mount Etna can create. We will walk together over old extinct craters located on the southern slope, the most vibrant in recent years. I will give you a tour of a lava tunnel with helmets and flashlights, and we will also see the Valle del Bove. On the way back you will have a free tasting of typical Etna products inside a local farm. We created this tour to show a very unique place for those who are ready to make efforts off the beaten track! We will visit a natural labyrinth system – a 3 dimensional playground, where we will often have to clamber up steep walls and creep through narrow passages. Prepare yourself for something active! - We will meet up near the cave (30-45 minutes from the city by bus, still in the residential Budapest) - You can change your clothes at the changing room, and we will give you the necessary equipment. - We will spend 2,5-3 hours under the ground. We will discover a small part of a 30 km long multi-level labyrinth system. As the cave is practically a maze with a network of passages, we can always find the path which fits your level of fitness. In means that we can do a relatively easy tour (still challenging), or an „adrenaline-pumping” tour - it’s up to you! - The tour is very interactive with a friendly atmosphere and English-speaking expert hosts. - It’s a perfect occasion to meet new people and maybe make new frindships - as there will be situations where cooperation makes your way easier. - After the tour you can chill at the moody beer terrace of the cave.
