The main train station is just up the street, around 10-15 minutes walk. And the old town is reachable within 15 min. Next door you will find a supermarket. My place is good for solo adventurers and big groups. The rooms are shared with other guests. My hostel is suitable for kids who love making new friends. The rooms are very basic... they have 5 beds each, with lockers to store backpacks, documents, etc. The bathrooms are outside the rooms, equipped with showers, hairdryers. The shared kitchen is equipped with dishes, pots, etc. We are located 45 minutes/1 hour by bus from Amalfi.
