Look out for the Northern Lights/Aurora with no houses on the north side of the road to block any view of them. The home has a comfortable queen bed. Cook on the gas range with all the necessary cooking utensils available. The house has Wi-Fi, TV / Amazon Fire Stick to watch your favorite shows. I spent over two years looking for the best place to have an Airbnb in the area, and this was the winning spot! It is less than 20 minutes from the airport. You are in a quiet, peaceful place with over 40 acres of trees and wildlife around. The home is on Murphy Dome which is the best point to see the lights and you can easily see the lights from the comfort of this comfy vacation home. Hunting, fishing, hiking...all walking distance! My car is available for rent as well if you need transport.

In the winter and spring months, the Aurora is visible from the front doorstep - Check the Aurora forecast and come visit! This cozy get away is just 20 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from the famous Pumphouse Restaurant. A great place to call home while visiting Alaska!

Aurora Outpost is located on a private 100 acre homestead just 7 minutes from Fairbanks and 5 minutes from Fox, AK. There is NO electricity, lighting is provided by warm lanterns. There is NO plumbing, but there is a small water system and outhouse.
