By car, the popular excursion destinations Wasserkuppe and Milseburg can be reached in approx. 10 minutes. At 950 m, the Wasserkuppe is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers a wide range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, sailing and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).

If you want to enjoy absolute peace, this is the place to be! Hiking trails, bike trails, and various attractions are very close. Among other things, alpaca hikes are possible directly in the village. Just ask us about excursion destinations and we will be happy to help you. Pets are not allowed.

Dear potential guests: Whether you are passing through, for a short break or for longer - our apartment is quickly accessible and a good place to relax in the evening - e.g. on the balcony with a view. The sofa-bed in the living room is very comfortable, so you can sleep well in two rooms. In the village, there is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and good gastronomy - around it a lot of forest. Our cafe has breakfast on weekdays from 6 or 7 o'clock on weekends.

Our apartment is characterized by the special location with far-reaching views of the Rhön panorama, e.g. water soup and Milseburg. The Ulmenstein extra tour and a star park as well as the Basaltsee Ulmenstein are in the immediate vicinity. The baroque town of Fulda is only 20 km away. There you can explore the beautiful cathedral,the great old town and many other beautiful excursion destinations.

The bedroom (including bedding) offers sufficient space and comfort for a good night sleep. The bathroom is equipped with toilet, shower and bathtub, as well as towels in sufficient number.

Enjoy nature and tranquility in our lovingly prepared and renovated barn apartment in the Rhön Biosphere Reserve. You have the barn to yourselves, like a detached house. There is also storage for bicycles and a bee meadow garden for sitting outside. To do this, you have to walk around the barn once. Great hikes or mountain bike tours from the barn are possible.

The apartment (approx. 80 square meters) was completely renovated in 2017 and equipped to a high standard. It is centrally located in the Rhön municipality of Hilders. It is an attic apartment that connects to my parents' residential and commercial building. The first floor as well as the second floor are connected by an open staircase to the attic apartment.
