Ahh....The Good Life Cottage is located approximately five miles north of Laurel, MS where it began on a patch of ground that was fully cultivated from the 1900's to the 1960's, afterwards it became a family farm that grew corn, hay, and food for livestock and family. Today, on the land is a farmhouse with modern amenities as well as the sights and sounds of nature all around you, frogs croaking, crickets chirping, deer feeding, turkeys foraging, and owls hooting. This is not a pet friendly listing due to severe pet allergies. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to relax you have found it. We have 2 ponds stocked with catfish, bass and bream. The home has everything you need to cook a great meal, including fresh rosemary and basil growing in pots at the front door. This listing is 30 minutes to Hattiesburg and Laurel. We are located 1 1/2 hours from the coast and casinos. We are 1 1/2 hours to Mobile and 2 1/2 hours to New Orleans.
