Four miles to Chazy Lake Beach or to the Chateaugay Lake Boat Launch. Hike the beautiful Lyon Mountain to the fire tower. Hike is 7.1 miles. One hour to Lake Placid and Montreal.

A charming cottage, one hour away from Montreal, on the Chateauguay river, 2 km from the village of Ormstown. Perfect for kayaking, biking, exploring the region’s many attractions or enjoying the scenery of this country setting. By night, the terrasse overlooking the river and the outdoor spa will sure make it a pleasant end to the day.
“It's a cute cabin, slightly smaller then expected but perfect for a few people. Everything we needed was close by. The hot tub was absolutely amazing and we endured the +40 degree heat and the hot tub strangely saved us from overheating. The place could use an AC unit as it's petit and would cool off the place and give a little relief after a day in the sun but then again that's not really camping. Annie did make sure to leave us with several fans which was appreciated. My friends and I had a fantastic time it was quiet, private and comfortable (minus the hot weekend). You will thoroughly enjoy your stay here no doubt.”
Hello, I rent my house which is located on the edge of a river. It is a rustic and ancestral house built in 1830 room-by-room structure. If you are looking for a natural corner 45 minutes from Montreal, you will be well served. Located between the river and a winding road much used on weekends by cyclists, you will find a wooded area and a beautiful view of the river. I will be happy to answer all your questions.
“If you think that Alain’s cabin is a peaceful, quaint and one of a kind experience outside the regular pace of city life and even traditional chalets you would be right. We chose Alain’s place so my partner could convalesce and we could rethink our lives outside our metropolitan life. What we got was a much deeper experience than that. We already miss the neighboring cows, the postcard view and the fireplace. Alain was a conscientious host the whole time we were there (1 month) and remained in touch with us while also giving us great peace. 5 ***** from Mood and Alex”
