Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms. Quiet area close to nature and scenic roads and parks. Nestled between Elkader and Strawberry Point. Close to Backbone State Park and Volga/Turkey Rivers. This is a rural property, not located in a town with any amenities. You must bring what you need or plan to travel 8 miles to Elkader (Dollar General, Wilkes Grocery, pit stop gas station)or strawberry point (Dollar General, Casey’s and Nadings gas stations)

The Bridge View Studio

Perfect getaway and a perfect location to get to know Elkader with it’s coffee shops, antique mall, shops, opera house and beautiful Turkey River. Property was homesteaded in 1841 and sits directly across from the courthouse and looks over the famous Keystone Bridge and downtown. Come stay awhile. ***NOTE: Because we are located across from the court house the clock tower bells can be heard from our location. Main part of the house is our residence, Airb&b has separate entrance on the side.

Old Mission Road House - A Home Away from Home

This is a newly built house with full kitchen. All dishes, pans and linens are supplied. There are 3 queen size bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms , washer and dryer. Flat screen TVs access to WIFI in the kitchen and in the loft area and also in each bedroom. Fully air conditioned. Front and back patio with chairs and table, grill and fire pit with wood supplied. Backbone State Park is three miles away. A great area for trout streams, hunting , hiking , golfing and snowmobling in the winter.

The EJ House 4 Bedroom 1 1/2 Bath

The EJ house was built in 1905 with the original woodwork, stain glass windows and front door. The house is a little over 1600 sqft of living space. The house has 4 bedrooms with three queen beds and one full size bed. Guests will find it to be surprisingly spacious and a comfortable place to work, play or relax. There is a full-size washer and dryer in the house. The house has central air for those warm summer days or enjoy the large back deck. The woodwork is original to the house.

The Jude

Loft-like 1 BR/1 BA 2nd floor apt. located in historic Elkader, IA. This 1901 building has many neat architectural features including high ceilings, arched windows overlooking Main St. and wood floors. Large combo living and dining area, and full kitchen. BR has queen bed; also 1 twin air mattresse avail. upon request. Bumper pool table. Free parking. Fantastic DOWNTOWN location close to everything! Welcome to The Store! This place originated as a grocery store in our little town of Ossian, IA. We have given this building a fresh new facelift and turned it into a vacation home. Don't be turned away from the outside as we continue to update but embrace the charm we have built on the inside. This space was well thought out with stunning features that we are excited to share with you!
