Timberwood Tiny Home is a place to rest your head & heart in Efland, North Carolina. The peaceful retreat is down a country road approximately 10-minutes from downtown Hillsborough. The 200 square foot tiny home is on a private corner of 8-acres shared with our main house. It features Scandinavian-style details, two beds, a spacious porch, abundant natural light, a wood-fired hot tub, barrel sauna, cold plunge, and more. There are features of the home that may make it unsuitable for children.

Ideal for a quiet retreat but only 8 minutes from UNC Hospital, Hillsborough Campus and within 15 to 25 minutes from Duke University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina Central University and historic downtown Hillsborough. Newly decorated home, in quiet, safe neighborhood. It is centrally located between Greensboro(25 miles) and Durham/Chapel Hill (25 miles). Perfect location for traveling nurses. We are also about 4.5 miles from Mebane and 8 miles from Elon. Check out my guidebook with lots of places to visit in the surrounding area. There is a large deck with seating perfect for grilling out, and a well stocked kitchen. Both bedrooms have adjustable queen size beds with luxury linens and Smart TV’s.

Unique space in one of the best country neighborhoods around. 6.5 miles to Hillsborough healthy grocery store, 8 to Carrboro/Chapel Hill, 18 to Durham. Serene pond and grounds.
