The quiet location on the Gera River on the edge of the Steigerwald in connection with the proximity to the city and the good transport connections offers an ideal starting point for visits to Erfurt and the surrounding area, as well as for hiking and biking excursions. The Gera bike path leads directly along the house. Business travelers will find quiet and relaxing nights as well as free parking.

Vippachedelhausen is located in the triangle of cities Jena, Weimar, and Erfurt and is ideal for excursions in the region. The place is directly connected to the cycling network of Central Thuringia and offers good opportunities for cycling and hiking. Swimming options are available at a natural lake (about 2 km) as well as at the gravel ponds near Erfurt (about 10 km). Shopping facilities are available. Garden with fire pit and hammock. Bicycles, a kayak, and a sauna can be used or booked additionally.

Home to Goethe and Schiller, Bauhaus and rich with culture, there is so much to see and do in this area. We have lovingly renovated our little cottage, framed by roses and furnished with antiques, melding the old-world with a touch of the modern. We hope that each of our guests feels at home.

Our apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a small apartment building. The apartment is about 45 square meters with a living room, bathroom, bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The city center is within 15 minutes on foot. In the house is the excellent Kua Thai Bistro. Our house is not yet completely renovated, which means that there are some blemishes on the facade, in the staircase and also in the garden. For long-term stays for two, please request a discount.

The 2 room apartment is 60 square meters and is located in a quiet one-way street. It has a fully equipped kitchen and a quiet bedroom with an 800 sqm garden. Just as quickly as at the cathedral you are also in the city and the hiking trail on the Gera starts at the end of the road. For my guests there is an espresso machine & a small supermarket is around the corner. The apartment is friendly and cozy, has a good atmosphere and is also suitable for a longer stay.

Our modernly furnished apartment offers 80 sqm of space for 1 to 4 people and is located in a quiet residential street. Cot/high chair if needed. Extra sleeping option on the couch for 1 person. In addition to the fully equipped bedrooms, the vacation rental (underfloor heating) features a living room, a cozy kitchen with a dining table, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet, and washing machine. In-house parking spaces are available and free of charge.

House overlooking Weimar, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. In our small lovingly designed brick house, right by the vineyard, in our large park-like private property you can relax. The day can start with a breakfast and a good cup of coffee, for example at sunrise on the terrace with magnificent distant views. The bedroom with large double bed is located upstairs in the gallery. Our farm dog Cleo is well-behaved and joyfully welcomes all guests.
