“We loved Lisa's place!!! Stayed here for a month at this cozy little house with a huge yard! We enjoyed outside as much as possible, as we came from the city where we had to stay home. Her huge yard was just beautiful. Our son enjoyed baseball, running around and Frisbee!! Our family also enjoyed BBQ grill so much, and we ate dinner at outside dining table most of the time. We loved bonfire, my son enjoyed s'more, and we played guitar singing songs :) I also loved having washer/dryer which is very rare in the city. Everytime I had questions, Lisa replied so promptly, and she was so nice. Hiking, clamming, playing at the beach!!! We surely miss Lisa's place, and we will definitely come back!”
Welcome to The House of the Mermaid! Come stay in this newly renovated and decorated basement apartment in my house in a quiet and residential area of Hampton Bays. Close to all that you could ever want; restaurants, bars, shopping, and beaches. Perfect getaway for any season. The Hamptons are known for their amazing Summers at the beach, but don't forget about all that Long Island has to offer throughout the seasons. Shopping at Tanger Outlets, apple/pumpkin picking, and the N.F. vineyards!
“Claudia answered really fast to our messages and calls. The place is In a nice area we brought our bikes with us. It’s really quiet for a ride or walk. The apartment was very clean and spacious. The air conditioning is fantastic. The mattress is great! Hard to get up next morning 😂 because it is really cozy plus the white noise. She has some chairs available, a cooler, a bag and towels to take with you to the beach ohh and a lot of ice 🧊! We loved her place, we won’t hesitate to come back to your place Claudia! Thank you for everything!”
Sweet little cottage nestled in the beautiful flora of Westhampton. Close to the pristine beaches and the vibrant village.
“The cottage is a little place in the host’s backyard near the pool and surrounded by a beautiful garden. We had the pool to ourselves anytime we wanted, and it was always sparkling clean with the filter running. Even though it was a shared backyard, we felt like we had our privacy. The pool is surrounded by plants and trees so it makes it more private as well. You definitely get the enchanted cottage charm with all the wildlife that explores the backyard. We saw baby bunnies, a groundhog, and even an albino squirrel!!! The inside of the cottage was decorated very cute, much cuter than the pictures are able to show. The cottage has a little oven/stove, coffee maker, tea kettle, mini fridge, and toaster. Both the indoor and outdoor showers had great heat and pressure. I read a few reviews mentioning how there were only twin beds, but when we got there the two beds were pushed together with a mat on top connecting them, making one giant bed for my boyfriend and I! I’m assuming the hosts do this for couples, which was a thoughtful touch. It’s about a 5 minute drive into town, and luckily all the restaurants were open for outdoor seating (writing this review during covid pandemic). I recommend eating at the Mill Roadhouse or The Patio! It was also a very short drive to the beaches, which were clean and not over crowded. The location and home is spectacular for the cheap price compared to every other Airbnb we looked at. The hosts were both very lovely the few times we did run into them while heading to our car.”
