We have a Canoe and Paddleboard to use at your own risk. *We love children but have some areas that can be unsafe for young children or people with mobility issues. Walking distance to Hotel Lake with floating docks and easy entry points for kayaking. A short drive away to Katherine Lake, Garden Bay Lake and Ruby Lake, as well as Pender Harbour Golf Course, and Mount Daniel - an excellent hiking spot with breathtaking views.

Nestled in the lush forest, just steps from a private pebble / rocky beach, this is the most secluded spot on the property with spectacular view of Jervis Inlet. Bench 170

Not suitable for children or infants. Lots of concrete and sharp corners. Enjoy the entire upper floor of this unique West Coast Modern home, built in 2012, with use of front lawn. A delight for architecture enthusiasts, Bench 170 was a featured venue for the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl for 7 years. Observe wildlife: eagles, sea otters, herons and sometimes whales and dolphins!

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
