“We so enjoyed our stay at this lovely camp! It was clean, stylishly and comfortably appointed, in a beautiful location, with a great host. We enjoyed sunsets and fishing from the dock in good weather and reading from the cabin’s little library when it rained. If you love Big Moose Lake, or would enjoy a quiet respite in beautiful, natural surroundings, you will not go wrong with this charming camp.”
Beautiful cabin situated in the heart of the Adirondacks. Access to Indian Lake, kayaks available for your use. Breathtaking fall foliage. Multiple hiking trails nearby, close to Adirondack Museum. All of our guests have visited again! Sleeps four adults, or two adults and up to 4 children.
“This place deserves 6 stars!! It's a beautiful, Adirondack style home with many unique design elements and decorations. Open, airy and very clean...an absolutely lovely home...even better than in the pictures. The house is a short walk down to a shared dock. We never saw anyone else using the dock while we were there so it felt like a private dock to us! The ability to use the kayaks and paddleboards was a huge plus. My husband and I enjoyed one day on the lake using those and spent the next day hiking Snowy Mountain (highly recommend....gorgeous views!). At night we made a campfires in the firepit area. The hosts had wood available to use which was wonderful. The house stayed surprising cool during a couple hot nights we had (the owners also had extra fans and space heaters if needed). As mentioned in the description, there is no cell service or internet which is a perfect way to unplug and relax. We have Verizon and were able to get 1x service while on the porch and firepit area, which was enough to send texts and receive emails. The village has service if more is needed. Highly recommend the Indian Lake Cabin! We would love to go back again.”
Relax in the central part of the Adirondack Park at a private brand new construction rustic lake house finished in August 2018. Enjoy kayaking on Lake Adirondack, few minute walk to the town of Indian Lake for dinner, drinks, entertainment. 15 minutes from Gore Mountain, Hundreds of hiking trails, minutes from the Adirondack Museum and white water rafting activities. Enjoy the views of the mountains of the high peak Adirondacks off the lake, and the beautiful sounds of loons.
“This house was incredible. We’re already planning next year’s visit! Quick overview bc it’s hard to visualize the layout: main floor with kitchen and living/dining has 2 queen rooms w 1 full bath. The upstairs (stairs are to the left and behind the fireplace) has a loft w a loveseat and a huge master bedroom with its own bathroom (stand alone tub and stall shower). Like other reviewers say, a crib and/or air mattress will fit easily. The partially finished basement that walks out to the yard has 2 small rooms, each w a futon and a half bath in the middle of them. We absolutely LOVED this place. There is plenty of space and we didn’t feel crowded. The kayaks, etc. were used daily and we just loved the easy lake access. When we weren’t swimming/kayaking, the kids had a blast watching the family of ducks and the lively chipmunks. We even caught the local seaplane take off and land a few times! Lots of firewood for campfires and 2 grills ready to use. Plenty of chairs around too, although we brought our own for sitting by the water because we weren’t sure. Teresa sets the bar high, you’ll love this house!”
