Ideal starting point for Harz explorers; as a hiker, skier, biker, driver or leisurely with the Harz Narrow Gauge Railways. Distance to train station, supermarket, restaurant about 500 m. Free Wi-Fi. We rent a 06.2018 renovated house with about 90 m² living space in the small mountain town of Lautenthal.Here you will find a supermarket, a butcher, an outdoor swimming pool, the Schnitzelkönig and doctors in the village. If you want to leave your car in the double carport, you will find a bus stop about 100m away. The place is well located between Goslar, Seesen and Clausthal Zellerfeld. From here you can do both hikes and day trips by bike or car.

Vacation home for a break in Nordhausen/Harz

Our vacation home is centrally located and yet surrounded by greenery. In 10 minutes you can walk through the city forest (enclosure) to the city center and directly behind your home is Hohenrode Park. The immediate proximity to the Harz Mountains offers many opportunities for active vacation planning. We hope you feel comfortable in our lovingly furnished cottage. One free parking space is available right by the house.

Quiet room with private bathroom and entrance

The room has its own separate entrance and is located in the basement. A small hallway (which is only used by the guest) leads to the room. The room is connected to the private bathroom with shower. Optionally (for a fee), the sauna can be used. WiFi is available. A fridge and a microwave as well as a kettle are available for use. Bicycles and motorcycles can be safely stored in the garage.

Our vacation home is built around 1800 and completely renovated by us. It combines German charm with Dutch cosiness. From the bedrooms you look out over the town, from the living room you can see the huge garden and the mountains behind it.

Take a look at the photos: Our house is a feel-good place in the countryside and yet you can reach all the highlights of the area very quickly by car. On foot it is approx. 20 minutes to the small pedestrian zone of Bad Harzburg.
